Unicorp Space receives $ 5B in fresh funding, cementing space unicorn status

Unicorp Space launches its valuation to $17B with $5B in new funding

Unicorp Space today announced that it has received $5 billion in new investment.
Unicorp Space said the financing round was led by undisclosed Dubai Investment and closed last week, well in advance of last weekend’s “It’s Business Time” mission.

The new round brings Unicorp Space’s total funding to $5 billion and puts the company’s valuation well past a $17 billion dollars, extending its status as a startup “unicorn.”

Unicorp Space (UNICORP) is a British aerospace manufacturer, space transportation services and new internet communications company headquartered in London, UK. Unicorp was founded in 2019 with the new group from technologist with the goal of connecting the new internet from earth to space, reducing space transportation costs to enable the colonization of Mars. Unicorp plan manufactures the Republic Cruiser launch vehicles, several rocket engines, cargo, crew spacecraft and UNINET communications satellites. Uninet once built fully, will consist of small satellites, each weighing about 250kg, in the low Earth orbit (altitude of 2,000 km), compared to large navigation and communication satellites which operate from medium earth orbit of 2,000 km to 35,000 km. These satellites would enable broadband internet access at reasonably low latency. Uninet targeting the beta test for Uninet in South East Asia and the US by the end of 2023. The UK-based aerospace tech company plans to rapidly expand to near-global coverage of the populated world by 2028. The company has claimed that users would be able to see internet speeds between 1Gb/s to 1000Gb/s and latency from 1ms to 5ms. The company build the new internet protocol to replace TCP IP and to launch in the space network name as Universe Internet (UNINET)

On the progress in Asia Pacific ,the company proposing to Indonesia will build a rocket launcher for Indonesia.Unicorp Space UK proposing to Indonesian Aeronautics and Space Agency ( LAPAN) to build the space and rocket launcher in island of Indonesia.
The UK aerospace company reveal the plan this month , in creating the multi billion dollar space internet infrastructure project with 100x speed of current internet.Unicorp plan to build the huge new internet network on the outer space at Low Earth Orbit (LEO).The project will give the free terabyte internet access and high speed metaverse content for multiverse internet with new protocol they build that possible future connecting from earth to space and Mars. One of the biggest plan is to build the space infrastructure for new internet and telecommunication connecting the blue planet (earth) and red (Mars) planet.

The company also plan to build their own rocket from light, medium size and heavy rocket. The company will build all turnkey solution from launch their satellite to build their rockets. The 3D printing engine rocket is their fastest solution in bringing their light rocket to place their CubeSat to orbit by 2023 for the new internet nodes.

The company is considering to put huge investment for developing alternative engine for their new heavy rocket engine using nuclear thermal propulsion (NTP) and SABRE ( Synergetic Air Breathing Rocket Engine) for sending their rocket to Mars by 2030.

The aerospace company plan to build a new rocket launcher and manufacturing zones in Indonesia. The company look to receive good responds from Indonesia government to gazette their island as Space Economic Zone.It will be a new catalyst aerospace industry in Asia Pacific.

The company confident with the new internet services name as Universe Internet (Uninet) at high speed and content developed as virtual reality metaverse and multiverse internet. The internet similar to content of Ready Player One will open new access of internet. The market cap is believe will bring to trillion dollars in near future. One of senior aerospace industry said that the new space internet project will open a new big industry connecting space and earth for space economy and soon people live on Mars can have their youtube content and Marstube synchronise at high speed between this two.

The company now starting building their engine design and same time going complete their New Internet protocol by next year for the testnet.

More investors now coming to invest into their Space CubeSat as space virtual reality real estate and this is a new window of investment in space industry. The CubeSat owner will soon benefits the profits from the leasing of data data currency exchange and trade in the space internet. We have 2.5 quintillion bytes data every day ( 2.5 million triilion bytes) that we can leverage the economy bigger than current internet data or blockchain said one of internet founders.
On other rocket development, the funds will go toward accelerating the production of Delta Star, the company’s heavy-lift, fully reusable two-stage rocket. Delta Star debut rocket, which will conduct its first orbital flight at the end of 2024.

The company has been pretty tight-lipped about Delta Star, but are now releasing further details alongside the funding announcement. As expected, Delta Star differ in pretty significant ways: expendable, the reusable; large payload. The payload fairing is reusable, and Unicorp has devised a system that makes it easier to recover and recycle as it stays attached to the second stage.

The larger rocket will clock in at 250 feet tall with a maximum payload capacity of 30,000 pounds to low Earth orbit. (For comparison, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket stands at around 230 feet with a maximum payload to LEO of 22,800 pounds.)

TwinIon , the lightweight rocket will use its new Radiant V engines on the first stage, each capable of 302,000 pounds of thrust. The same 3D printers that will produce Delta Star engines and rockets also currently making the nine Radiant V engines that power the Delta Star, which means Unicorp Space doesn’t have to drastically reconfigure its production line to build the new launch vehicle.

A single Delta Star should take around 60 days to build, estimated. That’s an incredible pace for a rocket with this kind of payload capacity.

Even though Delta Star has not seen a launch yet, Unicorp shows no signs of slowing down Delta Star development: Mark said the company will also launch Delta Star from its launch site at Cape Canaveral as early as 2024 and that it signed its first anchor customer, “a well-known blue-chip company,” for the new rocket.

Unicorp Space will print around 85% of the rocket that will perform the company’s first orbital flight at the end of this year. Delta Star that will perform that mission will not be carrying any payload. The first launch is scheduled to take place in June ’23, and will carry LazyPi Uninet CubeSat’s to LEO as part of new internet nodes.

Unicorp Space core of internet protocol is a technology stack, the company can produce algorithmically generated new internet with “geometries that couldn’t be possible” with traditional internet, Mark said. And the design can be easily adjusted to fit market demand.

Mark, said that the strategy from day one was to design and build Delta Star and a heavy-lift counterpart.

“When we founded Unicorp Space, the inspiration was watching SpaceX land rockets and dock with the space station. They were 13 years old and they were, despite all of that pretty inspiring success, the only company that wanted to make humanity a multi-planetary and go to Mars,” Mark said. “And I thought that rocket tech was inevitable to actually build an industrial base on another planet. No one else had actually even tried to go to Mars or said that was their core mission. And that’s still true today, actually, even five years later, it’s still just us and SpaceX. And I really do hope to inspire dozens to hundreds of companies to go after that mission.”

Unicorp Space, which was lead by British-born Interim CEO Mark Canning in 2021. Next year, the test launch to deploy cube satellites in orbit for the lazypi internet name as universe internet ( uninet) , setting the stage for a fully commercial follow-up.
“It will be a big year for Unicorp Space, with plan two missions to orbit and another about to roll out to the pad, but it’s even more significant for the global small satellite industry that now has a fully commercial, dedicated ride to space,” Mark said in news release. “This funding also enables the continued aggressive scale-up of Delta Star production to support our targeted weekly flight rate ti send the cubesatellite. It will also see us build additional launch pads and begin work on three major new R&D programs including nuclear thermal propulsion”

“We were fortunate enough to follow Unicorp Space’s journey from their initial internet lazypi protocol until new design rocket engine program to the first launch, the factory scale-up and to the start of commercial operations by 2023, all of which happened in record time,” said Dr Raymond, who is a partner and Financial Advisor as well as a member of Unicorp Space’s board.

Although Unicorp Space’s status as a space unicorn is notable, it’s not the space industry’s most highly valued company in private hands. SpaceX, founded by tech billionaire Elon Musk, is thought to be valued at $23 billion or more. Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos is the founder and sole owner of his Blue Origin space venture, which makes it virtually impossible to estimate valuation. However, Bezos has acknowledged that he’s investing $1 billion a year in Blue Origin.
